Discus and support retrieving a xbox 360 profile in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; How would I retrieve a xbox 360 profile name?     Retrieve Profile after "Delete Profile and Items" was selected

    Is there any way of retrieving my profile or my minecraft game I had associated with this profile if I accidentally hit "delete profile and items"?

    Backwards compatibility question

    You can login, make sure you are logged into a profile on your xbox one, then hit the back and start (view and menu) buttons in x360 mode... That brings up the option to sign into profiles and download profiles.

    Even if you use another xbox 360 it should let you login to a xbox 360 profile and it should just say it was last signed in on another system. I'd make sure you are signed into a profile, if you are trying splitscreen stuff make sure your friend signs into his xbox one profile before then signing into his xbox 360 profile.

    Awkward, but it works. Been busting up borderlands splitscreen in bc for a couple days.

    Xbox 360 and Xbox One Gamer Tag

    If you have your profile stored on your Xbox 360 console, you can keep it there.

    When you get an Xbox 1, you will need to download it but only once, and choose to keep that profile on your console once downloaded.

    You can also be signed in using your profile, to both your Xbox 1 console and Xbox 360 console simultaneously.

    Your profile is retrievable on Xbox Live. It isn't just restricted to your PC, Xbox 360 or Xbox 1 console.

    Hi there, it sounds like you must have logged-in to the Xbox website which automatically generated a gamertag for the email.

    You will need to select the 'Download Profile' option instead of 'Create Profile' and enter your email and password to retrieve your account on the console, see link for step by step instructions:
