adding old gamertag to new account

Hi all this has me stumped wonder if anybody out there has a solution i have recently upgraded to xbox 1 and unfortunately couldn't retrieve gamertag email details so set up a new one.. Since then i have managed to retrieve old gamertag now... Can i add
old gamertag to new account without losing my 12mnths subscription on new live account

Thank you very much for the link but one thing i don't understand is if i delete the gamertag my XBOX LIVE account is on on my old console will i still be able to retrieve the gamertag on my new console when it comes????????????

You will need to contact support directly if logging in with the correct credentials doesn't give you the right tag. Contact Us | Xbox Support

If it gave you a new gamertag did it keep your same Gamerscore or did it reset your Gamerscore?

If it gave you a different gamertag and different Gamerscore then the email and password that you put in where not for the account you thought.

If thats the case like {Parity} said you can contact xbox support and give them your gamertag for the account your trying to get on your
new xbox and if they can verify ownership of your account they can give your email for the account.

If you still have access to an old console that you had your account on before you can also look on their to see what the email address associated with your account is.

I meant the new account, not . My new Gamertag is Mikeeeeey1

Unfortunately if your gamertag was deemed to be offensive there is no way of retrieving this gamertag. My advise would be find another gamertag that you like
