    Retaining an Xbox Live connection


    I have been trying to download game extensions for the Xbox 360. I am using a wired connection. When I go to Settings/Networking/Test Connection, the Network, Internet and Xbox Live connections all appear as Unknown. After the test, they are all listed
    as Connected. A check of the status shows - W:000-000B, X: 0000-F001, Y: 20A8-4840, Z: 0000-0000, ID FFFF-FFFF, L: 0015-10F0, Q: 8007-0435, T: WIRED, A: 192.168.0.11/255.255.255.0, G: 192.168.0.1, D: 192.168.0.1/205.171.2.25. If I leave the Test Connection
    and return, the connections are again Unknown. Consequently, I am unable to perform any downloads.

    Is there a problem or a way to retain the connections so they don't need to be reestablished over and over?

    How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

    Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

    Suggestions for Microsofts XBOX divison to gain the upper hand.

    There is no coming back from this...

    Xbox One is retaining a smaller portion of their already established fanbase, whereas PS4 (and PC) are gaining previous Xbox 360 players, as well as retaining their already established fanbase.

    Microsoft literally shot themselves in the foot for their arrogance, and deserve to face the consequences because of it. Halo is the only thing keeping their console buisness alive.

    Literally, all three will disconnect from the Black Ops servers, sometimes even Xbox Live, whereas my laptop for example, retains connection to the same router..
