Retail disc and store dlc

Hey I've bought a copy of call of duty black ops 3 today I live in Thailand so all my games have been imported by my local game store from Hong kong or Singapore so I was wondering if I could purchase the season pass from the uk or us stores as there is
no Xbox store for thailand I have bought Xbox live monthly membership from the uk before and still thou and it works fine but I was wondering if a season pass bought from the uk or us store would work with a physical copy of black ops that's from singspore
or hong Kong plz if could someone help cause I don't want to spend 35 pound or 50 dollars on a season pass for it not to work as it is a lot of money to waste

Xbox created a circle on my Game Disk

you could borrow a game disc from your friend or if u want, you could go to retail stores and have your game disc buffed.

ultra street fighter 4 DLC & new characters on the disc?

Are all the dlc and new characters on the retail disc or do i have to redeem it with a code?

Hi antoniomyers69!

You should be able to purchase a digital copy of the season pass for your BO3 game disc as long as your payment instrument is allowed to purchase outside your region through the xbox store. Xbox one console does not have any region locks for games(may it
be disc or digital game).

Though there is a lock for purchases. The system might allow you to be able to purchase a game using a payment instrument that does not match the region where you bought it. But after 24 hours, the system will detect it that its out of region and you will
get an error if you try to attempt to purchase again. So basically, buying games that are not for your region have consequences. I best recommend buying gift cards instead.

Thanks for taking the time to reply singcong but one thing I'm still confused about is that you said the Xbox should be able to detect that my payment instrument is not registered in the same region as the Xbox store but I've been regularly purchasing Xbox
live membership using my Thai credit card on the uk store using my grandparents address and I've not had any problems so far so should that mean it would be fine to go ahead and purchase the dlc

If you are still able to purchase through the UK store using the same payment instrument(even though its a Thai card), then there should be nothing wrong. You should be able to get the DLC fine. Its possible that your card is usable even outside your current
region.

DLC content with a disc can vary from retailer to retailer. Also as previously suggested, some DLC is only as an insentive to pre ordered digital games.

I did a lot of research on the matter and found that Borderlands 2 GOTY edition is not available on either the Microsoft Store or the Xbox 360 Marketplace to purchase digitally and this edition is a disc/retail edition only. I saw that you could also buy this
edition directly from Gearbox on the Borderlands official website.

The DLC included in the GOTY edition is able to download separately from the Xbox 360 Marketplace, but the whole bundle is not recognized, so the Xbox One may not recognize the DLC disc for this reason. The game itself is backwards compatible, but this edition
was specifically made for the Xbox 360 console and only sold at retailers in disc format. The DLC would need to have been purchased digitally in order for it to be downloaded on your Xbox One.

If you cannot download each individual DLC from the Microsoft Store with the DLC disc in the disc drive, then it will not be possible to use this content on the Xbox One. The main reason as mentioned earlier is that you need to have the game disc in the
console to verify the license and also the DLC disc but it's not possible to have two discs in at once, so the DLC disc is not readable as a game disc because it isn't one.

I hope this explains the situation a little better.
