Resuming games not working

So I got my Xbox on instant-on, and everything worked just fine.

But after the last update, my games stopped resuming after turning the console off.

Something even by just going into TV and coming back to the game and I had to start the game from zero.

Already made a hard reset, changed settings to energy saving and setting back to instant-on. Nothing seems to work.

I tried restarting the download many times but same problem until i read somewhere on the xbox site that i had to clear the cache after that everything went well thanks for you help.

 

Resuming Games from External HD

I have no problems suspending and resuming a game. Sometime even days later.

 

I'm with you it started happening to me as well. Do you have a external had drive attached? That's when i started running into this problem.

 

I'm having the same problem using an external drive and have tried everything. It only seems to be since the latest preview update that the issue has started for me, games were resuming fine from the external drive beforehand.
