    Resuming a Series enhanced game causes sound issues from home screen


    This mostly seems to affect Series X enhanced games like Fortnite and Call of the Sea for example, if you drop to the dashboard, then go back into the game, it takes several seconds further audio to settle down, during this time it stutters and drops out.

    I don't recall resuming the game from home screen, but it's done this a few times now, often when I'm well within a game.

    If I am going to do something else and not resuming my game in awhile I make sure to quit game from home screen....

    Don't resume games. Quit the game and reload. To quit a game from the home screen, say "Xbox, Show Menu" or hit the menu button. Say or select "Quit".

    Hi I hope you resolved your issue by now but do you have "resume games quickly (BETA)" turned on? I'm not sure if that only applies when turning console on but might be worth a try. You can find this setting by:

    From home screen press menu button > settings > power & startup > resume games quickly.
