Restrictions. Help.

My account is set to year 2002 as my birthday (but I'm 17- almost 18) and its not letting me play games like halo or Need for speed on the xbox app. I have them but it says my restrictions don't match. How do i fix this?

If you changed the age on the account after the account creation, this won't change your Xbox age, that can only change over time

If you set that way since the creation, you only need to follow this steps

Log out form the Microsoft store app and the Xbox app, after that restart the PC log back in

That should be enough but sometimes you need to change something else, for those cases go to the account privacy site settings and then change the programming on the account

It's all agreed to when you first launch the online portion to an EA game. The backs of the game covers will say an EA Account is necessary to play online, and you must be 13+ to register. Those are EA's terms.

if your account is under 18 you cannot download any demos or trailers of any M rated or RP (rating pending) games. there is no way to change your age once it was set up, you will have to wait till that account reaches age 18 and promote it. you should
be able to download stuff like maps as long as the parental controls are set up correctly.
