    So last month, the card that I had that was renewing my subscription was removed. It wasn't charged for another month. Once the month had ended, I used a 14 day trial I got with my new console. Yet for some reason, Xbox tells me "Make
    a payment to restore your subscription. It's currently suspended because it's past due $9.99"

    How is it past due? It was never charged, I didn't get a free month that I had to pay for?

    Restoring subscription.

    Usually that means auto-renewal was still turned on and your subscription was continued. Once they are unable to charge you, the subscription is suspended.

    If you did turn off auto-renewal before then, you'll want to contact support and speak to billing Contact Us | Xbox Support
