    Restoring Default Main Menu


    Hope this makes sense, as I am just the messenger!

    One of my sons today told the other to 'press Y' or something and his Xbox is displaying a newly themed main menu, which he doesn't like. I would like to restore it to the original main menu, however doesn't seem to be able to. He does not want his games
    'eg - COD' to revert back to the beginning. As the boys have autism we are all as lost as each other! Hope someone can help Restoring Default Main Menu :D

    Anyone having issues turning on XB1 right now?

    What do you mean by hard resetting? Restore to factory default? I can't access the settings menu.

    Login Information

    • Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username - cusadmin
    • Password - password



    Restoring Defaults

    Through Hardware

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Locate the Reset button.
    3. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen or toothpick press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds.
    4. Release the reset button.
    5. Wait for the device to restart.
    Through Firmware

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser.
    3. Log into the router by entering the default gateway (192.168.0.1) into the address bar of the internet browser.
    4. Login using the username “cusadmin” and the password “password”.
    5. Select Tools from the menu on the left.
    6. Select Configuration Tools from the submenu on the left.
    7. Click the Factory Reset button.

    On your console, sign in using your profile.

    Go to Social, and then select your avatar.

    Select Change Theme.

    Select a theme.

    Note You can also purchase additional themes from Xbox Live. On your console, go to Games, select Browse Games, select Extras, then select Themes.

    So you know, unless you delete the save game files, you should have no problem or chance to loose your saved games.

    Hello dwaestev,

    This is due to a known problem with the game. You will need to reset the games settings to default until they come out with a title update to fix this issue.

    Please launch the game and go to Help & Options from the games main menu. You should see
    Settings and Controls. Select Settings, and press
    Y "Restore to Defaults". Once you've done that back out of that menu and go to
    Controls, press Y "Restore to Default".

    Have you tried restoring factory defaults?

    Got to your system settings and then network configuration. Once their select your network and slide across to additional settings, once their go to the bottom of the menu and Restore to Factory Defaults. This should fix your issue.

    • Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
    • In the Settings menu, select 'System'.
    • Under 'Storage', and then select 'Restore factory defaults'.
