    Restore overwritten saved game data


    Hi,

    It looks like my children have overwritten their saved game data on Lego City Undercover (slot one where they were at 50% progress is now at 1% progress). I've deleted the local data so it resynchs with the cloud data - still the same.

    Does anyone know if it's possible to restore an earlier version of the saved game data?

    Offline game save overwrote cloud data

    Since the cloud data was overwritten so you can't go back to the previous save, you would have to have deleted the local game data and then restored it to the previous cloud.

    If the saved data has been overwritten I apologize but there will be no option to restore the saved games.

    The saved data may have been overwritten already which means that re-syncing the game data will just sync the latest save.

    Yes, it is possible to restore a cloud save for a game that was accidentally overwritten. To do this, you will need to follow these steps:



    1. Open the game on your Xbox console.

    2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    3. Select "My games & apps" and then select "See all" to view all your games.

    4. Find the game that you want to restore the cloud save for and press the menu button on your controller.

    5. Select "Manage game & add-ons" and then select "Saved data".

    6. Select "Cloud saves" and then select the saved data that you want to restore.

    7. Select "Download to console" to restore the cloud save to your Xbox console.



    Please note that this will overwrite any local save data that you currently have on your console, so make sure to back up any local saves before restoring the cloud save.
