Restarts when connecting to WiFi during set-up

Just got a brand new Xbox one S, and every time I enter the correct password for the WiFi during the setup process, and the console restarts. I then have to reselect my language and clock on my WiFi again, only to have the console reset once more. How can
I fix this issue?

Odd network/connection issue

I meant to add that after turning the xbox off you may have to unplug it as well. It may also help to use the "forget this network" first, if connecting via wifi, then set it up again after the restart

Xbox one connection problem

my xbox one is connected to the router and wifi, but when i test my multiplayer connection it tells me my network isnt set up. Bit is connecting to my wifi properly

A workaround for this is to use a wired Ethernet connection for the initial setup and update.
It seems to work fine that way. Then once you have done the initial setup you can go back to a Wi-Fi connection if you like.

I use WIfi to connect.

I mean that when I am using the HDMI during the start up it mostly wont connect to XBL

Is your PC and console connected to your network via Ethernet cable?

Is it possible that your WiFi router has a timed night setting? For example, some people wish to turn off the WiFi because they're afraid of the WiFi radiation, and disable it during the night time, and some routers allow a timer to enable and disable the
WiFi automatically during the night time.

On my Windows7 Network and Sharing Center already set Home network, but zune still don`t connect to phone by wifi. Firewall disabled, home network set, wifi is working, zune shows up correct wifi ssid connected, but when i try to connect my phone Error
C00D07C9 appears.

Hello Sg,

Try going into network settings>advanced settings>alt mac address clear and restart. Also are you connecting wifi or with ethernet cable? If you are connecting wifi try with a ethernet cable.
