    Restarting after an update


    Hi all,

    I have been an insider for about 5.5 years now. currently in the Beta Ring, was in the Alpha Skip-Ahead but found the builds were too buggy to allow me to play without too many issues.

    Anyways to the point. something I have noticed in both Rings is that after an update has been completed if i even try to sign in my console wont connect, it seems all my network settings just trip out and the only solution i have found to resolve this is to reset my network settings and also hard reset.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

    Please go ahead and create a new thread if you haven't already. This way you can receive support specifically tailored to you. Be sure to include the details of the issue as well as any troubleshooting steps that you have tried. In the meantime, give the
    following steps a shot:

    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
    • Power on your console and check to see if the issue continues to occur.

    I spoke with phone support, but only idea was to do the restart thing which didn't work. They did however take my number down to pass along to the person who is working on the download issues. they said they would call back with in 24 hours,
