Restart console every time I want to connect to a party

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to connect to party chat or sometimes even your network upon booting up your console.

I would first like to verify if you are experiencing this when

switching your Xbox Power mode from "Instant-on" to "Energy saving" and see if when powering off your console, you can reproduce the same scenario.

Additionally, if possible, if you could test your console booting-up in "Instant-on" while connected to an alternate network [a mobile hotspot would work just fine] this could provide for us further insight to determine if this is a
hardware problem with your console, or your network hardware.

If you can provide for us this information, we can determine the next best troubleshooting techniques to provide for you.

I have been having the same problem but mine is where I start connecting to the party and then it tells me i have been disconnected. What i have done is restart my xbox and then it works but i shouldnt have to do that every single time.

this started randomly but now every time i try to play with my friends on the connected franchise it sends us and anyone in the party to the home screen if we are on madden. i went and replaced my console and still no improvement...

I had the same problem with my old controller and to fix I just plugged it in to the console and then unplugged it when it was connected, but you would have to do it every time it doesn't want to connect to the console.

I wanted to know if I can play this game completely offline. Updates are fine; I can connect to the internet every now and then. I just don't want to be online every time I start the console to play the game.
