I agree with the sentiment, sadly though sometimes it is just too much and folks speak up. I feel for the OP and their concern, sadly its like you said tho there's not much that can be done.

  2. You could always voice your opinion about this to people such as game developers. You have the right to have your own voice, but it’s hard to have one these days. Many say we should have tolerance but then those same people are very extreme about it and
complain. Not saying that you’re one of those people. But we can’t have it both ways, we can’t have tolerance and cut-throat policy at the same time. So Microsoft has to decide whether to be tolerant of all people, and not be biased towards one religion such
as Christianity. Though you certainly have the right tovoice why you don’t like that in games. Just don’t expect much to change. And I mean that kindly .

Microsoft has no control over this.

Also, on the back or in the descriptions of the games it says if there is language as required by the ESRB.

They do alert the purchaser if the game could have something like this. It is up to you if you still make the purchase.

  5. Back to the Future The Game has a "T" rating. The very first word delivered in the dialogue is our Lords name used in vain.

    Now, to anyone reading this:

Please carefully read my post and research my request before replying with any more useless advise. I appreciate the help, but I have a Masters Degree in common sense.

Wow, I am really coming off like a jerk...sorry. My point is, I want to have the use of our Lords name in vain eliminated from video games. Its lame. Its not necessary. Furthermore and most of all, its disrespectful to Christians. Other beliefs are respected
and filtered in the process of games chosen to be on Xbox, so respect Christianity! Please.

  7. Contacting devs...seriously? Theres an infinite number of them.

Microsoft Xbox is my S#/t! Its all I play. Again, Microsoft would never have a game called Mahamid Bros, because it would clearly offend Muslims. So Microsoft could EASILY let devs know, hey, NO MORE GAMES using the word Jesus as an adverb! Simple.

Unfortunately, Jeremy, we can't control what the developers decide to do with their games. That is something that you would need to take up with them.

However, the gaming community is not the place for religion and/or politics.

Wanting to stop game developers from using their freedom of speech to create their games with the dialogue they choose is a bit hypocritical to me, what with you wanting them to stop making things the way the see fit.

  11. You should read everything thats said on a thread before posting.

Microsoft is in control of the games they put on Xbox. Dont reply, unless you read my other replies. If you DID read them before you posted what you posted, then you have some issues that you need to deal with...like comprehension skills for example.

I’m sorry that this issue is so troubling for you and we all have a right to our opinions and to voice those opinions. Unfortunately I’m not sure how much good it would do to contact the developers but good luck anyway on your future endeavors.
