    The problem isn't that the Xbox can't run 1080p, it can, but as several developers have said, it's just a pain working with the EsRAM. And the good thing about the GDDR5 is that developers can write code more generic, which means less time spent which again
    equals less cost of production, pluss they have a timeframe.

    I really think (without being any kind of expert or have great knowledge of the subject) that they probably should have gone with 64mb Esram instead, which would make things easier.

    There have also been a lack of tools for developers to focus on the Xbox, first games released was based on PC SDK. After the release of DX12, Microsoft have apparently listened and created tools that developers have asked for, and from what i've heard the
    DX12 Xbox SDK will get sent out from April to all developers, with a complete version being shipped in June to them.

    So i'm eager to see what comes from games after that.

    But anyway, i would rather have a good image than a high resolution (both would be perfect of course) but when i look at Ryse, i seriously see that i can have an amazing looking game without 1080p.

    On a side note, go on youtube or whatever and see the graphics of the first year games on Xbox 360 and compare it to the last year. It's vastly vastly improved. It takes time for developers to become accustomed to the console, tools and development for
    that hardware. Let them do what they can, and enjoy the great games coming in the future.

    I for one, am exited to what is to come.

  3. Actually Titanfall was designed with low end PCs in mind. This was the reason for the large 48GB file size for the PC version according to the IGN article I read.

    The wonderful thing about PC gaming is that you can simply Google the latest specs from Alienware and then claim that these are the specs of your personal set up, which you bulit yourself... for £100.00.
