Respawn: We Did Not Sell Titanfall to Microsoft

MS, TF is only capable of being ran on MS products so why are they holding out, are they looking for more money or something?

Well apparently it can't be played on the PS4 because of the %100 failure rate, So why should this matter?

 

They probably want to stay independent from being tied down and limited on what they can produce for. In other words, keeping their options for the future open. Either way, it doesn't really make that big of a difference to me. They made a good game, I can
play it, I don't really care beyond that.

 

titanfail only playable on ms products? are you 2. if this was on the ps4 it would look great not crap like it does on the xbox 1.lol

 

Respawn was going to release TF for ps4, but ea and ms made a deal before e3 behind respawn's back that it would be Xbox and PC only. Respawn was releasing TF for the ps4 a couple months later, until they found out about the deal.

Go and read the Respawn news. They talked to both Sony and MS about what they want to to with Titanfall. MS has the hardware and software that Respawn wanted, Sony didn't.
