Resolution to unobtainable achievements.

I have been gaming on the xbox platform now for almost 10 years and been mostly happy with the experience. My only gripe was the inclusion of achievements to games as I have developed an OCD towards them. I can't just pickup a game now and enjoy it until
I have finished all the achievements. My friends don't get to spend as much time with me on games we all own because I am too busy finishing different games to get that 100%. At first it was a challenge and I enjoyed it. But now that developers are closing
servers or discontinuing games I am left with a number of achievements I can never unlock. This is incredibly frustrating and I am sure I am not the only one who feels this.

It resorted in me signing up to trueachievements just to ensure I stay ahead of server closures or bugs that prevent the unlocks. So now I am obsessed with the list they provide me.

I have spoken to Xbox support on a few occasions and they say to check with developers, who then tell me achievements are Xbox's responsibility. So I am going back and forth. Funnier still; one of the games that I can't finish is 1 vs 100... a Microsoft
Studio title!

Surely there must be a way to get around this for those of us who are burdened with these blemishes on our completion record. My solutions would ideally result in one of the following:

1. The option to remove certain games regardless of the number of achievements obtained. I understand that this would result in a discrepancy in the gamerscore but that matters little to me anyway so remove the equivalent amount from my overall score if
need be.

2. Any unobtainable achievements should be noted and an option for the gamer to unlock them manually within the achievement app should be made available. Or a service with Xbox support which we could contact to have them unlocked.

3. If it absolutely has to come to it, the gamer could pay a small fee, say $1 for every unobtainable achievement. Or as some have suggested on the uservoice page, an option to unlock a number of unobtainable achievements as part of the Rewards system.

And of course for trueachievements to be made aware of whatever solution so that it reflects on their account and they are not accused of cheating.

I spoke to someone in the support team today about this and they suggested I post my concern on the forums for the moderators to address.

It can't be that difficult can it? Really?

Come on Microsoft give us completionists some hope of 100% the day we decide to stop. Otherwise I will be playing until I am in my 80s.

Achievements are not unlocking even though I have met the criteria.

These achievements are confirmed unobtainable:

No stone unturned

Reckless

 

Laggy Spartan Ops!

fyi...Some of those achievements are unobtainable until December 3rd.
