  1. Resolution support for xbox 1

Come on Microsoft. My TV only supports 1080i or 540p. You have the know how to integrate 1080i support so why wont you. My TV is too heavy to move and I got it for free so I really dont want to get rid of anyways. People with 1080i TVs dont care if there
is a little motion blur. It's hardly noticeable anyways. So do us people, your customers a favor and start support for 1080i TVs. Thank you

    :)

Xbox one was supposed to be having the 4k ability but instead you came out with a new one because apparently you are greedy. What's up with this and I'm sure many others are wondering the same question.

I saw the comment around Xbox 1's launch too:

"Xbox One supports 4K resolution (3840×2160) (2160p) video output and 7.1 surround sound.[51][62][63] Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing and strategy for Microsoft, has stated that there is no hardware restriction that would prevent games
from running at 4K resolution.[62] Unlike the Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not support 1080i and other interlaced resolutions. Xbox One supports HDMI 1.4 for both input and output, and does not support composite or component video.[35][51][64]"

    Xbox One search, Wikipedia

Xbox 1's hardware I think isn't enough to run games native in 4k. Especially when you only have a 1.75Ghz APU, and 8GB DDR3 RAM with a mere bandwidth of 68GB/s and when only 5GB of that is available for gaming.

    Resolution support for xbox 1

From the support page: TV Resolutions for Xbox One

"The "i" in 1080i stands for interlaced scan. This means that half the lines that make up screen images are "redrawn" by your HDTV 60 times a second. This format looks great with most content, but there is a slight blur (called "motion-blur")
    with fast-moving video.

For this reason, Xbox One doesn't support interlaced resolutions"

    1440p 120Hz Support?

    Hi there,

please check if the Monitor does support 120Hz via HDMI on the 1440p resolution, often certain resolutions are only supported via 1 of the display options, so it could be that this monitor only supports the desired resolution via for example Display port
    and not over HDMI

Be sure to check the manual for your monitor what it supports

Bad graphics on my xbox one s.

1-check xbox display resolution at settings, display, and also check tv resolution too. then restart chosen game for changes to go to effect.
My tv doesn't even have a resolution option. I think i need a new tv because this one is awful doesnt even support 4k, hdr or anything
