Resolution settings

You could try performing a reset/power
cycle and if that doesn’t help, then try a ‘soft’ reset
of your console to factory defaults. Make sure you choose the Reset and keep my games & apps and save any local data thats not backed up to the cloud.

That's weird. It should show 1080p. Take a look around and play around with a couple settings to see if you can't get it to pop up.

I take it this for PC correct? If so, what resolution do you have the game set to in the game settings?

The optimal setting is to set the game to the default Windows native resolution and use the resolution slider in the graphics settings to set the games internal resolution.

For example, on my Modern Warfare, I have the game set to 4K (3840x2160) but the resolution scale is set more nearer to 1440P.

Just choose 720p, since the 360's auto leaves a bit to be desired. The 360 may have selected 1080p because your TV probably accepts a 1080p signal, but downscales it to 720p. Since most 360 games run at 720p, that is your best option. Leaving it at 1080p
means the games will have to be upscaled from 720p to 1080p, only to be scaled back down to 720p by the display. Doing that can only cause harm, to the picture quality.

Maybe ou have the xbox 360 set on a different resolution? Try changing the resolution settings. You can do this by going into settings, system, console settings, display, HDTV settings, and picking your TV's resolution.
