Resident Evil Remaster confirmed

According to OXM the original Resident Evil game is being remade for both Xbox One and 360, and will release in early 2015 via digital download. You can check out full details on the remastered version

The game is in the list, but since it doesn't explicitly say "Remastered" maybe only the original Xbox360 game is eligible... can you help me?

I would of loved an re2 - re3 remake but I will settle for this. If it makes enough money it may lead to the sequels getting a remake too. I hope.

 

A remaster of a remaster? Sounds like a 2009 meme with Xzibit...

Looking forward to any sort of proper Resi game, bored of the over the shoulder ones now. This shall have to do.

 

Why anyone loves a game where you have to stand still to shoot is beyond me (I know you could move in 6 but that game was diabolical in my opinion) never ever seen the attraction of Resi games. But im renowned for being totally miserable.

 

Played the original when it first came out and played the remake and Resi Zero on Gamecube, not sure if I'll get it again unless they add some significant new content and the price is right

 

A remaster of a remaster lool, I cant see this being any good. It was good at the time of ps1 but there have been too many better games and too many better sequels. Will be good for people who never got to play this back in the day tho.

 

How about a new game?

Is this generation just going to be 60% remakes or super mega HD remakes...

Its getting ridiculous.

 

I don't mind the remakes as long as they're of decent games, such as this. I do find Tomb Raider, the upcoming Sleeping Dogs etc quite pointless though... But I can't wait for Halo 3 again!... Hopefully a Silent Hill 1 remake somewhere down the line too!

 

Dont mind remasters if there warranted like this one, but think too many are of very recent games. Older classic games which younger gamers arent likely to have played being remastered im for and it makes good business sense too.

I also hope they remaster silent hill, sega should do a shenmue remaster but doubt they will (favourite game)

This is the gamecube game, which is one of the best survival horrors ever. The PS1 version is an unplayable dinosaur by today's standards though.
