Resident Evil 8 Not Launching

I just bought the Gold Edition Resident Evil 8 for my

Xbox One X.

When launching the game it states that I am too early and that it is NOT RELEASED yet and to check the Store for upcoming release dates.

Thus far I have tried the following fixes

1.) Uninstall then Reinstalling R.E 8

2.) Power Cycling My Xbox

3.) RESTART the console

4.) Shut down Console and removed power supply

5.) RESET THE CONSOLE (Kept apps and Games)

6.) Signed out of my profile, then Signed back in

7.) Punched my dog

8.) Prayed to the Zombie Gods

9.) Beat the neighbors kids up

10.) Walk away, get food, came back later

11.) Clubbed a baby seal

12.) Sacrificed a Small Goat...

Will someone PLEASE SEND HELP!?!?

P.S. 7-12 are for satire and humorous purposes. Maybe. ;>

Hi, yes. The base game is playable. Unless the previous link also considers that you have the gold edition you can remotely install from the web

If once installed you receive the same message, in this case you may need to wait until the gold edition gets released :c

As the error said you are tooearly the error did tell you so check the release date here is a hint it isn't October yet

Yes, the game is not released. The gold edition is planned to be released on October 28 according to the game description

No as you already been told your pre-order isn't out yet

That's not how preorders work

You will.be trying to make a double purchase and base games are already a separate download and dlc is counted separately

Preorders don't complete until 10 days before release so yes you werent charged yet

You can try AA Josef suggested but as mentioned each edition is treated separately and not really smart to tell you to click something like BUy if it says download power to you

If it says buy know that it has consequences since it is a double purchase
