I didn't know that about RE6 Cloud. That sucks. Oh well, better they make a quality game than a rushed crappy game. It'll be the first next gen RE too so that's exciting.

[/quote]And that's why Resident Evil 4 was the worst of all Resident Evils. It was a good game (I've beaten RE4 over 30 times on the Game Cube.) it just wasn't a good Resident Evil..

After trying to play successfully with "Resident Evil Revelations 2" on the Surface Pro 2. I was wondering if any of you guys had tried playing with "Resident Evil 0" on Surface Pro / Pro 2 successfully. Can It operate " Resident Evil 0 " on PC tablet

I've been palying RE6 with my GF and I'm really enjoying it. I don't why I didn't like it before but opinions change so yeah.

Although some parts are so laughable. The underground catacombs to the Church doesn't bother me but where did the Zombies get Dynamite and HOW did they light them??? And why are some of them wearing them as vests?!

Oh and where does all that monster fat in Simmons comes from? T-Rex lol..

 

haaaaa yeah, there were some funny and illogical things in 6. I do love the survival horror genre. I hope more games come out.

 

I started RE:ORC back when it first came out and just now finished it a few weeks ago finally haha!

It wasnt bad, but was just hard for me to get into so I just played it little by little over the past year or so x)

 

Ever since Amnesia came out I'm seeing more Survival-Horror games coming out so I hope that's a good sign. I actually just beat one recently (the one in my sig) and it was like playing Silent Hill again for the first time.

LOL at the video! Yeah Defy it took (if I remember correctly) 4 years. I remember hearing it would be 7 years unless I am confusing it with something else.

Pyramid I checked out some footage for Lone Survivor. That looks really good! As far as survival horror games go nowadays I mean lol.

Moshed I played RE:ORC to death. Loved every second of it. Its a far stretch from any of the other RE games but I really enjoyed it.

JT, Code Veronica is / was amazing. One of the highlights of the series. The whole setting and antagonist(s) were just pitch perfect, minus some dialog.

Biz, your not alone. I so want fatal frame / project zero to come back. I doubt it will, but if I count enough chickens or get a rabbits foot, who knows. Very scary game indeed and that would make perfect use for the Kinect if they worked on it well. So
long as it was optional too.

 

HEY I loved Downpour. Reviews slammed it but I just think they didn't know what they were talking aobut (I think it was IGN who used the words visceral combat and Silent Hill in the same sentence and I was like WTF). It scared the crap out of me. Not as
much as other games sure but man, the sewer side quest was AWESOME.

Lone Survivor is really pretty good. I was skeptical at first because it was 2D and retro but it actually enhances it. The less is more approach is really exemplified with it's sprites and I swear if i didn't it was someone else, you could mistake the music
for the work of longtime Silent Hill composer, Akira Yamaoka.

 

I have Downpour and I did get quite far in, about 5 hours worth. I enjoyed it but it didn't scare me like the older ones did. Maybe I need to play it again (and alone) with the lights off. Telling you man, lights off makes a big different :/ lol. Ugh, IGN
just bug me.

Oh yeah I agree, I would of felt the same too with 2D but I can imagine how it enhances it. I miss a lot of the classic formulas. Did you ever play Alone in the Dark for 360? I couldn't get into that :/ I tried hard, but I just couldn't get into it.

 

Oh its not the scariest game thats for sure. But i thought it pulled it off quite well. Its scarier than Homecoming at least.

I rented Alone in the Dark when it first came out. I think I got most of the achievements for it too(including burning all those damned roots) Its bad game to be sure, but i kinda liked it in its own way lol

 

Homecoming...why did you have to remind me So much in that game just didn't add up. It was 'okay' as far as games go but seriously, I wasn't a huge fan of that one. lol.

See now as for Alone in the Dark, I think (I don't know without looking) that I have one achievement for it. So at some point I have to get my 360 back and play it. I played it first on the Wii but didn't like it back then but due to the fact that I really
wanted a scary game to play I went ahead and paid for the download on 360. Then played it and put it down. The scariest game to date for me still has to be Project Zero 2. Scared the life out of me.

 

What's even worse is Homecoming was originally planned as a trilogy. Oh and Joshua(the younger brother) was going to fight Alessa for control over Silent Hill. it's like a really bad fanific that almost happened. D:

Aw man, I was so close ot beating Fatal Frame 2 back on the original Xbox before it went caput and lost all my day. i've tried to go back but I HATE ghosts. Scares the crap out of me.

Outlast is up there for probably scariest game I have ever played. I really had to push myself to beat that game.

 

What! HAHA! Now that is just silly. See I wont pre-judge, but I hope they never make a sequel to another title in the series. By that I mean "SH3 Chapter 2" ect... It's one of those settings that just suits its own story each title. Sure its cool to have
easter eggs in there and maybe a few nods to the previous title characters, but a story shift carrying over? No thank you sir. Speaking of, I haven't yet got round to watching the 2nd movie yet.

Dude, such an amazing game mate. If it ever gets remade I totally suggest hitting it up again. I wont pretend to be a manly man, I do get scared and I do turn ALL my house lights on if something freaks me out lol and that game due to the ghosts, just had
me under my covers lol.

Outlast I will look into bud. Sounds as though you have played a decent portion of scary games so far so if you say its scary, its on my list.
