    Resident Evil 7 won't save on my Xbox Series S


    Autosaves won't work, every time I hit an autosave point the game always, without fail says "Failed to save game." I can't save at typewriters either, same issue. I reinstalled the game to see if that would fix it, but nope. Every other game I have works as intended, included Resident Evil 2 Remake. I love Resident Evil 7, was willing to dish out the money to get it again on the next gen console. But this is ridiculous, and unplayable. I tried requesting a refund (bought the game yesterday, haven't even gotten past the prologue) and it was instantly denied because I have played the game. I have found no solution online, but plenty of other people have had the same issue. Not sure what to do at this point.

    Please, uninstall the game, clear the local saved data, reset your console, and then reinstall the game.

    After uninstalling the game, clear the local saved games.

    To do it, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.

    On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games. This deletes games saved to your hard drive, but they'll still be saved to the cloud.

    Then, reset the console:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Finally, reinstall the game.
