Resident Evil 7 Will Not Install on Windows 10 - "Does not work on this device" Error

Hello. I purchased Resident Evil 7 on the Windows 10 store, reading that is was under Play Anywhere, which means I comes on both PC and Xbox. But in my library there is a notice that 'Resident Evil 7 does not work on this device." I cannot install it, and
under "Available On" it only says Xbox One. I see people have been playing it on PC so I know it's possible, and I bought it seeing the incentive of that, and would love to know if it is an error or I was duped.

Issue with Windows 10 and GFWL

I cant play Gears of War PC - Halo 2 - Resident Evil Racoon City. Due to the fact that the GFWL does not work with Windows 10. How do I fix this?

Resident Evil 7 Season Pass DLC codes not working properly

When buying the Season Pass DLC for Resident Evil 7 from a retailer instead of directly from the Xbox Store the Season Pass doesn't work as intended.

I bought mine from Amazon and redeemed it successfully however nothing was downloaded on my Xbox, the ready-to-install list of RE7 is empty and when I view the Xbox Store page for the Season Pass it still asks me to pay:

Some users said that all the codes sold at retail erroneously unlock the Season Pass for the Windows 10 version of the game instead of the Xbox One version. I can't verify this since I don't own a Windows 10 PC but I can confirm that the code didn't unlock
the Xbox One version of the Season Pass.

It doesn't work for me either. I think either microsoft or capcom has removed the play anywhere function and forgot to update the descriptions in the game stores. What's crazy is that i have PLAYED it before on a pc using my account, but now when i try to
reinstall it because i was going to buy the dlc and check it out. It says not available for this device. I chatted with someone named ann on the live chat who swears that it's impossible because on my purchase history it shows that i bought the preorder bundle
which it doesn't mention play anywhere on that page that i can only play it on my xbox. The WHOLE reason i bought it from windows instead of steam is because of the play anywhere feature, but it's been secretly removed without saying a word to anyone or offering
some sort of consolation. That's why microsoft is a super fail company.

Yes, I tried that earlier. All of my games work, except for Resident Evil 6 Resident Evil 7.

Because it was Resident Evil games that were working, I even tried my digitally downloaded Resident Evil games, but they work just fine.

The content should be available for download on the PC. Have you been able to download Resident Evil 7 without any issues? Does the Season Pass show as purchased in the Windows store?
