Resident Evil 4 - containers not appearing

I've played that game thousands of times (I'm exaggerating) on every console imaginable since it came out in 2005 and I've never run into this glitch, except on the Wii version. It went away after reloading a save I had previously made and deleting the main
corrupted file. That's, however, a different console and a bygone era of gaming. Deleting the most recent save and reloading an older file on that play through and doing some minor backtracking may help fix it.

You could also try to clear your console's local save cache in the storage setting, uninstall the game, hard restart the console, and reinstall the game. (As vaguely mentioned by a few other people.) If neither solution works you may just have a corrupted
file, which happens sometimes in ports of really old games... the codes get funky over the years.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game without having to do the extra technical stuff is definitely recommended though!

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the game too, that might help. But if the bug persists I think the RE forums might have more answers regarding it, plus it would be best to report it over there too.
