Resident Evil 2 Revelations Digital game problem

I was playing RE rev 2 when it locked up my Xbox 360 I had to pull the plug to turn it off (guide button would not work). Now when I try to play it the screen goes black and about 20 sec later in the bottom left corner the words loading come up like it should
and the symbol swirls trying to load but it never loads now it just swirls like it's trying to load.

I have erased all the data for it ( the game, updates, saves, ect...) and re-downloaded it and the game still won't work, I even tried different profiles to no avail. Other games I have downloaded still work just not this one. This is the console I bought
the game on and I'm using the profile the game was bought with. The only thing I haven't done was re-download my profile to see if the license for the game was some how messed up. I paid for this game and now I can't play it pretty upsetting this isn't the
first time this game has locked up like this when checking other forums I see it crashes and locks up on people randomly while playing.

Any help would be appreciated thank you

Yes it is still listed in My Games section with the achievements earned. Yes it is in the Xbox store for free. It is also in my download history.

I erased all data pertaining to RE Revelations 2 from my hard drive and re-downloaded it from the Market place and then from my download history. In both cases it acted like it was going to load ( the game starts showing the loading symbol in the lower left
corner with the little swirl next to it but it never loads just keeps swirling) I then use the guide button to go back to the dashboard since it won't load all the way.

I've tried doing it offline, with and without the 120 mb update for the game (this makes the system lock up) with a different live profile and other offline profiles none of these things work ( the game did work before with thee other live profile).

I've put all the data on a usb stick didn't work ( it was all on a usb before and it worked) I tried putting all data on the xbox HD didn't work tried putting all data on external Hd didn't work, all of these methods were used before I settled on the usb
stick which I've been using for the past year I also tried different usb sticks that work with other games on them just not this one).

The only thing s I haven't tried is to re-download my profile.

Ok on 3-24 the game decided to start loading and I can go to the main screen and now pick campaign raid mode, everything that should be there is, but when I go into raid mode and pick a level to play 90 % of the time it acts like its going to load (same
loading symbol in lower left corner with the swirl going but it doesn't load just keeps swirling.

When you are on the main menu you can go to the market place to purchase downloadable items and everything I have purchased has a check mark next to it so no problems there and it lets me re-download them.

Just really confused stops working then starts working again for no reason but then it doesn't let all of it work.

 

It's now 3-28 ( exactly 1 week since it quit working) and this game still doesn't work right. Raid mode randomly lets me play a level or it locks up or just swirls and won't load.

I was able play through the entire 1st episode fine but episode 2 will not load. The previously on episode 1 video plays then loading episode 2 comes up sometimes it plays the next video most times it locks up or just keeps swirling when it does play the
next video it locks up every time when trying to start the level. You can start episode ,2 3, or 4 at the beginning of the episode without playing the previous episode, episode 3 and 4 load up and let me play, episode 2 will not it locks up or just swirls.

Now I've re-downloaded from the in game menu and from my download history it makes no difference episode 2 continues to not work. Again I have deleted everything pertaining to this game off my HD and re-downloaded it all several times to no avail. And now
in my download history there are 3 items that say "content not available" I'm assuming that is the compatibility pack, episode 1, or Hunk DLC, or episode 2 which I re-downloaded from the in the game market place. Each item I've downloaded has a check next
to it saying it is free to download except the season pass that say's it's 9.99 but when I click on it, it says you have already purchase this item would you like to download again so obviously I purchased the season pass ( I believe it was in Nov 2015 for
11.99) I clicked on it to re-download and it did. So again no Idea what is going on just very frustrating this is happening. Never liked the idea of digital games to download there is no way for me to prove it is not working properly and re-downloading it
( which is basically like getting a new copy) doesn't fix the problem.

Thanks for the extra info! Couple things for you to be aware of. First, we don't work on the weekends. We work Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm Pacific time which means we aren't here over the weekends. Second, please don't quote/respond to your post multiple
times to try to get more attention to it. We know when you respond and will get to you accordingly. See point #1.

Now, let's try a couple other things. The purpose of these steps is to try to determine if the issue is with your console, your account, the game, or something else so please follow the steps and let us know if either works.

First thing to try is the easiest. If you're still on the console that purchased the game that means your current console still has the license. Because of that, you can play the game using another account on that Xbox 360 so go ahead and try playing the
game using a different account. Again, this is to see if you're able to play the game successfully or if you continue to have issues.

Next, do you live near anyone that has an Xbox 360 console that you could borrow temporarily? If so, download the game/content to the alternate console and try booting it up and let us know what happens then.

Finally, if neither of those work, we're going to have you try reinstalling your current Xbox 360 update to see what happens. Here's how you do that:

• Go to 'Settings'
• Then 'System'
• Go to 'Storage'
• Once there, perform this button sequence in order (not at once): LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X

That sequence should bring up a prompt asking if you'd like to roll back your current update. Say yes and allow the system to do so and restart. When it starts up and asks you to install the update again, say yes and then try again.

*Hopefully* one of those works and we can figure out what's going on so keep us posted!
