resident evil 0 crashing and turning off console

hello guys and gals,

I'm having an issue with resident evil 0 and by now I know that I'm definitely not the only one experiencing this ;

at a certain point (cutscene (about 30 minutes into the game)) the game freezes ; the sound still plays for a few more seconds until the game completely turns off my xbox one x.

I've already contacted capcom twice via email about this but all I got as a reply was the typical "reinstall the game / clear the cache / yadda yadda".

Nothing helped. From what I've read in the comment section under a youtube video there seems to be a fix for this in a recent update for xbox insiders or whatever this programm is called. Can you confirm this as either right or wrong? And should it be wrong
is there anything the xbox team can do about this as it seems to be a problem caused by an earlier xbox system update from what I've read.

Would you happen to still be experiencing the same error for Resident Evil on your Xbox One console?

If so, we will continue to provide troubleshooting, as the point of troubleshooting is to ensure that these concerns may not be fixed by simply attempting to refresh or reset the console.

A suggestion we have, attempt to soft factory reset the console:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

Note: This will remove profiles, so be sure that all accounts on the console can be signed into with it's proper credentials.

Try this and let us know the results.

I am having the same problem and have tried all of the same steps that you guys keep giving people which I have to assume no doesn't help and want customers to get tired and just give up. The problem persists on Xbox One, Xbox One X, and Xbox one S.
Every other game (including Resident Evil 1 HD, and Resident Evil 2) that I own works fine. It is only one game Resident Evil 0 that crashes my whole system. Can you stop giving cardboard repetitive answers and get an update to solve this problem. It has
persisted since Oct. 2018 and you have still done nothing. I will not repeat any of the above steps because they don't work. Can you tell us something new to do or let us know when you're going to ship a fix, or at least stop selling a broken game. I would
like to know an ETA please on the fix as well.

thank you for your reply ; I've already tried all the things mentioned in your post but nothing helped.

It most definitely is an issue that either xbox or capcom has to fix and not something a user can do something about him/herself.

Day one Xbox scorpio x started having game issues with blackout then pubg now all my games are unplayable and the console wont start this is after i sent it to get repaired for these issues get yours repaired before the warranty goes out is all i can offer

We sorry about you are experiencing this unwanted issue, some other users as you are having this crashing of a game.
