reset xbox question

will i lose any saved data (e.g CAWS, any creations in WWE2K15, 2K16, 2K17, 2K18 and 2K19), if the game has been synced to the cloud and i copy the games and DLC onto an external HDD and when it asks me if i want
to keep games and apps or remove everything? since i copied the games onto an external device before i removed everything, will all my saved games and data be there when i transfer the games back to the HDD?

That is right. Only if you select to delete it anywhere you lost your saves.

In addition to above helps, xbox reset has an option to refresh while leaving all apps and games in the event that one does not have an external drive. This worked well for my xbox one x just 4 days ago...i only had to sync with cloud storage.

so basically as long as it syncs with the cloud, if i were to reset it or if i got a new console all my data will be retained?

i would only lose the data if i pressed delete everywhere on a game, is that correct?

Hi There, If you have backed up your games onto a hard drive the games will still be on your hard drive when you plug it back into the Xbox. All your saved game data will be on the cloud, so you will be able to get back to where you left off.
