Reset XBOX now won't connect to Samsung smart TV

I recently did a reboot of my Xbox (unplug for two minutes, hold down power button) to clear the cache for a fortnite issue. This included unplugging everything from the back of the Xbox. Plugged everything back in and powered it up and now the Samsung smart TV won't recognize it. I've powered everything down and back up...console and TV., but the TV doesn't see the console. This is irritating. I'm just plugging two devices into each other...this should be this difficult.

Anyone have any thoughts?
