reset the family timer

Please help, I bought an old game console x-box360 and a family timer, help to reset the family timer.

Family timer resets everyday.

Each day I have to put the family timer on myself manually rather than it popping up. I have tried resetting the security question, although I haven't reset the pass code. But my brother is sure that he doesn't know it he may be lying and I will have a go
at changing the pass code. If its not the pass code is there anything else that may be resetting it? Has anyone else had this problem?

Family Timer doesn't reset correctly.

The family timer always resets for 2 minutes, no matter what the timer is set for.

If you mean resetting the parental controls on the Xbox 360 console, you can simply
contact Xbox Support via phone or chat and have them help you reset the passcode lock. They will walk you through with instructions.

This is a common problem that some people get after buying the 360 console second-hand, but Xbox Support is happy to help with this issue.

The support forums can't help here, unfortunately. This place is mainly the Xbox community, not actual customer reps.

Only way to remove or reset family timer is to call support.

From what I can see, it's not possible to set from the PC

Also reading through the information on the family timer leads me to believe it would reset as soon as you hit a new day or week and not the time you set it as the purpose to limit the time the console can be used daily or weekly.
