Reset profile data for MSFS2020?

Discus and support Reset profile data for MSFS2020? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have not been able to play MSFS2020 for almost half a year.     Reset profile data for MSFS2020?


    I have not been able to play MSFS2020 for almost half a year. Asobo has not addressed the issue at all. Something in my xbox live profile is crashing the game on both PC and Xbox One X. Deleting all cloud save data doesn't work. If i use a new profile I can play just fine, but I dont have my marketplace content, or the ability to play as my online identity. This leads me to believe there is something on my profile that is crashing the game. Since Asobo is unable to help and unwilling to work with me to help troubleshoot the issue further, is there any way to contact someone at Microsoft to get them to delete any profile information (cloud storage/achievements/achievement progress/etc) related to that game so I can start fresh?

    I don't know indeed if I have exactly the same issue. I do know that I solved mine by locking and unlocking my xbox profile using this tool:

    My     logbook is empty now but at least I was able to install MSFS using my own account again and I did a test-flights, (<1.5 hrs).
    This was impossible before this lock-unlock trick.
    The support from Microsoft is quite bad....At the end it took me a lot of time to go through all their procedures, but my questions were not answered at all. At the end I fixed the issue myself.

    Maybe this procedure works for you as well.

    And still nothing after the clean reinstall?
    Nope. Game crashes on load. Through troubleshooting I’ve traced the issue to something about the game reading my Xbox live profile. (Offline is fine, new profile fine, but cashes as soon as it tries to go online with my main profile)

    Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

    Open Accounts

    Click Sign-in Options

    Scroll down to Privacy

    Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."
    Yeah, This has nothing to do with that stuff; it's something with the game loading the Xbox Live profile, as it also crashes the Xbox version of Flight Simulator 2020. I have gone as far as reinstalling Windows and game only on its own hard drive.

    Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

    Open Accounts

    Click Sign-in Options

    Scroll down to Privacy

    Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

    Restart your PC!
