reset of all achievements and levels

Dear all

I posted once already something, but could not find it. that's why I repeat it again.

In about two to three weeks I had to reset all my achievements and levels on MW3 because I was told by starting the game that my disc was a older version and that I have to reset everything. I believe this was because I had two times a hacker in the lobby
who caused this. I reported him two times. I am not 100% sure, but I think his name was WEED xFuzion (was on Friday 20.11.2015 between about 8.00 and 9.00AM Swiss time). Now as I am again back to level 1 and lost all my achievements, I expect from Xbox that
they will get my account back to as it was before. If you are not able to do so please look with Activision that this can be fixed. I am really surprised that hacker can do something like this. And I am sure that I am not the only one who had this problem.
And I can not accept either from Xbox or Activision that they are not able to restore my account to the levels and achievements I had. They can not avoid that hackers have access to the lobbies, and also not able to protect the honest gamers? Would be really
very poor. I expect a answer from Xbox as soon as possible. And also I expect that the hacker who is responsible for this will be sanctioned. Also I would expect a better support when hackers are reported!!!!!

My Gears of War information is gone.

I have gotten reset to level one. All of my skins and achievements are gone.

 

Level reset Please help

Please help all of my stuff has been reset/ Last week i was playing with a friend and then we got off. Half an hour later we got on and i had been reset to level one from level forty. All of my achievements remain but it says that all of my stuff is gone,
so someone help me to get back all of my stuff. -

 

Ok, there are a few points I need to address regarding your post.

1. It is against the ToU of the forums to name and shame. Please try to refrain from doing so in the future. If you believe someone to be doing something against the ToU and CoC of the Live service then please use the dashboard reporting tools to report
them. Go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions.

2. You cannot reset your achievements. If you have lost your achievements then it's possible that you're had a gamerscore reset. If this is the case you should be able to log into the link below and open a Case Review with the PET.

3. As for being rank reset to level 1 in game, that is a known issue with all of the CoD games. The developers are well aware of this but have done nothing to fix the issue. However, as it is not something that Xbox can deal with your best bet here is
to try contacting them about it anyway.

 

I can see
your achievements for Modern Warfare 3 just fine here.

If you mean special in-game achievements and XP, then you will have to contact the Activision support about that, and clearly specify that you are inquiring about the in-game unlocks and XP, and NOT the Xbox Live achievements.

Since Microsoft and Activision are two separate companies, and the XP database is owned by Activision, Microsoft Xbox can't help you with that, I'm afraid

If you ever happen to be matched into a lobby with a cheater, you should immediately press the Guide button and then Y to exit the game to the dashboard.

It might be, that because you played with a hacker, that your statistics went crazy, and when you "normally" leave the match, these statistics are stored on the Activision servers.

Probably a watchdog on Activisions servers found that your stats are "weird" and reset them.

So make sure, that you don't play in a hacked game until the end of the round. If you see strange hacking activities in your match, immediately exit to the dashboard, so the game can't save your hacked statistics.

Thank you for your answers. It was not my intention to blame someone. Regarding this issue I first had a chat wit Xbox support, there they told me that I should call the hotline, there I was told to log a ticket in the support. I thoight that would be this
place. Seems not, but was my first log. I reported the player online in his bio, but normally not much happens there. I will look with xbox support that they can either delete my post or replace the gamer name by a few x...

And sure, Xbox and Activision are two different companies, but somehow I think it should be possible that the two could work together, and we all play via xbox live, so there must be a relation between the two!?

And I think they could do really more.

When you say you reported the player "in his bio", do you mean you pulled up his Gamercard in your console's guide menu, and then chose to report that Gamertag?

Did you choose the correct category?

If yes, then rest assured, there *is* much happening. Almost 16.400 people complained in the Account Suspension Forum for being banned or temporarily suspended.

And those are "just" the people that take the time to complain. There are probably a lot more who know they did something wrong and just accept their fate.

So by reporting him, that person is now on the Enforcer's radar, and they'll observe the player. It can take some time, as they have to collect evidence for his wrongdoings.

You surely understand, that they can't simply ban someone just because of some person's report (as a sore loser might just report a legitimate good player for being a cheater). So the Enforcers have to force themselves into a match with that person and have
to see with their own eyes if that person is really a cheater/modder/hacker.

Well, the relation is, that Microsoft can suspend or ban people using Xbox Live if they abuse the service by using hacks or mods. But then it doesn't matter if it's an Activision game, EA game, Microsoft game or whatever publisher owns the game.

However, if a game has game specific stats (like for example XP, ranks and loadouts in CoD games from Activision, or statistics in Battlefield games from EA), then these things are stored on servers that are owned by the respective game publisher.

Microsoft has no access to these servers, and therefore can't act on your name to change something on these servers.
