Reset my password, my 360 requested my new pass, said I needed to redownload my gamer tag and ...

Idk what's happening..I even tried making a free account just to check things out and I get the same error code when I try signing in. Even on my Xbox one when I try signing in to my gamer tag I get a message saying I can't at this time. Is it Xbox live
on the fritz?

I cannot sign into my xbox 360 live account, I receive an error code: 80151103 after i enter my e-mail address and password. I have reset my password a few times... please help

I am still getting a 80151103 on a secondary xbox that I also play on. I have reset my password and followed all the directions on the login.live website. My ID recovered just fine on my home xbox. I have also tried to move it over to a storage device
and login that way and it still gives me a 80151103 error.

I have tried clearing my cache,ect . I'm still getting the error code. I think Xbox live is on the fritz because I tried calling Xbox support and there's about a 1 hour wait. So I think I'm not the only one with problems....I hope.

I have had this gamer tag account for 7+ years now I hope I dont lose it..

 

did you try moving (or deleting) and redownload your gamertag as mentioned in that article

Once I tried redownloading the gamer tag as my 360 said, it was no longer on my hard drive. So there's no way for me to move it.

 

Thank god the problem has resolved himself. It apparently was Xbox live just acting up for me. I gave it an hour, then tried again and it finally allowed me to download my gamertag. I appreciate the help pride.

 

Will deleting your profile and re-downloading it erase data such as minecraft worlds or progress in other games?

Re-Downloading your profile will not erase gamesaves/progress in Minecraft or other games.

You would have to physically delete the gamesave/progress yourself in your Hard Drive Storage options. So you are safe in regards to keeping your game progression.
