    I am very sorry for what you are going through, to Reset from the console

    Press the Xbox Button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information.
    Select Reset console.
    On the Reset console? screen. You will see three options: Reset and Remove everything.

    I'm sorry to see any issues with the hard drive on your Xbox 360! It sounds like the hard drive might have been corrupted and everything erased. While it's not a common situation, it is something that can happen.

    If none of your saves were on the cloud, then the information lost would not be recoverable. However, any purchases you made are linked to your account, not console, and would be able to be redownloaded on a new hard drive.
