Reset Console failure Alpha-Skip Ahead

Current alpha-skip ahead update (May 3rd, 2023) left my series X console in an Error E208 loop.

Had to reset console fully. (DO NOT DO IF YOU DONT KNOW YOUR FULL MICROSOFT CREDENTIALS)

Reset procedures worked with current steps: shutting down Xbox. Removing power by plug for 30seconds and Ethernet hard line if used. Plug console back in and holding the “eject” and “controller pairing button” until one loud “beep” is heard. Power up will happen as a result. Then you will have a prompt with various options. Reset console while KEEPING games and apps. Then log in using your Microsoft account.

After reset console powered up, some updates will happen to the store and other apps.

Issues:

Report tool DOES NOT work. It can no longer find the report tool in any means on the store or through the insider app.

Microsoft store is looped in updating. Bounces between 99%-100% back and forth.

Mitigation attempts failed:

Console has been through multiple restarts to mitigate store issues and report tool. NO change in results.

Console: Xbox Series X, TV: Samsung 65 S95B, Controller: Elite Series 2, Software: Alpha-Skip Ahead May 3rd 2023, Profile: IVI 5T4G3 4 IVI.

Hi

Consoles that are in the Alpha Skip Ahead tier of the Xbox Insider programs had to be factory reset to resolve an issue with the operating system on the console as per the notes below.

If you have unenrolled from the Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead, the console will be marked in the Microsoft database for unenrollment.

However, if the System wasn't factory reset, the Alpha/Skip Ahead Software is still installed.

You might have to download an
OSUDT to an USB stick and do a factory reset with a fresh system install from USB.

Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead
