hello i would like to ask if you can use your tecnical magic to reserve my lost gamer tag of Soapyhat. I have recycled the na,e a few times going soapyhat, soapyhat1337, and soapyhat117. I used soapyhat on the xbox 360 till an update made me have to relog
into the account but i was young when i made the account and forgot the email and passcode. So please help me reserve the ga,ertag SoapyHat to the account of [Mod Removed]

Delete a gamertag associated with an email address

I have one two email addresses in my Microsoft family account

my objective is to get *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** to have gamertag=tag1

but

so

Changing Email adress

I changed the email adress in the settings of

After that when I log in with *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** I don't get to the right xbox account.

I can only get to my xbox account if I log in with *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

How do I fix this?

Hi there,

Unfortunately gamertags are not an on request item. If you want to get the tag, you'll have to wait until it's recycled/freed up.

Here's the situation:

So I switched the email id of *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** to some temporary gmail id. This step worked. Now I can log in with the temporary gmail id into live accounts and also on gamesforwindows.com.

Now when I try to switch the email id of *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** account to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, I get an error saying *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** isn't available.

Any suggestions?

I'm not trying to merge Gamertags together. I am trying to make a Gamertag appear properly when signed into a different Windows 8 account than it was originally installed as.

Gamertag A is associated to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

Gamertag B is associated to *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

When I login to Windows 8 as *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, Gamertag A appears.

But when I login to Windows 8 as *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***, Gamertag A is still there. I need that to be Gamertag B.

The only way to do this would be to change your current email to the *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and create a new account with the *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** but by doing this you would only get generic xbox emails and not ones related to the gamertag
