    Reserve 'TheStrataG' gamertag


    Microsoft Virtual Agent recommended I go here to reclaim an old gamertag, which is the following:

    TheStrataG

    I had used this gamertag for when I had an XBox first gen and XBox 360. I haven't had an XBox until recently, but realize I cannot find a way to use the gamertag.

    I'm told the gamertag is inactive and I'd like to reclaim it.

    Anyone from Microsoft can help with this?

    I think I failed in that I accidentally accepted a version of the gamertag with numerical numbers appended at the end. Whomp whomp.

    And accept the hashtag

    Or just keep trying until its free

    But if someone claims it but with a hashtag you will have to wait again for BOTH names to be free so is it worth the wait I doubt it

    Gamertags are not an indemand service it. Is available when it id available and noone can tell youa exact day or time

    I'm sorry, but MegaMasterX and MegaMaster X are two different tags, and I get a different message when trying to change my tag to "MegaMaster X".

    I called Xbox Support back and am hoping to get some results soon. It's not like I'm trying to take a Gamertag from someone who is actively using it at all.

    If it was indeed taken by someone else, wouldn't it show up in search results for Xbox Support's internal tools or on Xbox Live?
