    Rescuing my boyfriends profile.


    A long time ago, my boyfriends profile stopped working on XBox Live. Mine is OK, but he just can't sign in. Even though the email address is recognized, I never receive a reset code when I try to recover it for him.

    Being a straight minded kind of guy, he just unplugged the network cable and proceeded to get loads of achievements offline.

    I'd like to try and re-register his profile. Alternatively, I'd like to delete it and create a new profile with his saves and achievements.

    It doesn't bother him much, but it annoys me when we're playing cooperative and I want to get some DLC.

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

    I know I can delete the profile and keep the "ITEMS". But what does this actually mean if their's no profile attached to them?

    What error message are you receiving when you're disconnected? What games i this happening in? And can you provide more information about 'rescuing' a friend's profile?

    Trying to prevent someone from using my gamer profile.

    I got an xbox 360 recently with my boyfriend; however, my boyfriend recently moved out and took the xbox 360 with him. My gamer profile was downloaded onto that xbox and now I can't get to the xbox to delete my profile. I think someone else may be using
    my gamer profile now. How can I prevent them from continuing to use my profile? What can I do via PC?

    If you create a new account for him, he will start completely over. It's not possible to transfer game saves and achievements to another account. So if you do choose to delete the profile, but keep the items, those will not work with a new account.

    I don't want to mess up my boyfriend's xbox one, so are you are you definitely sure I can play on another console using my profile to play with friends. Is the update going to be on my profile still? I am in a madden league and I'm trying to play my game.

    But to understand that better how they show!?

    Because i have a similar case in After Burn Climax but i my case in 360 show 11 of 12 conquest, but in xbox.com and profile show 12 of 12, for me to fix that i have first erased the profile (profile only, all other things; like items and saves mantain!!!),
    after that erase cache memory, i tried first that wihout celan the cahe and problem back when i rescue the profile).

    After that go to social and rescue our profile from XBL, if works OK it´s done, if not, i am clueless.

    I have only question for sure? (to make people look other solutions for yours problem).

    You have do all of that in that exactly pases?

    First go to profile and delete the profile whif problem (only profile, maintain all the rest!!!)

    Second go to memory and delete the cache.

    Third go to social and go to in and out option, and use the option rescue from Live (that option rescue your profile from MS servers, if you use a copy of your profile to rescue, to make clear from USB devices or any of backup device; the problem will still
    continues,if the site shows corrects you can "rescue" that version).

    If you do all in that way i hope you problem will be solved, if you already do in that exactly order...wait more sugestions(because much of problems insolve that come from not respect that order, for sure if you want to put a "extra" step clean first you
    cache!!!, yeah do that for two times for sure some people say that works i didn´t need that when i have solve when i have this problem).
