Requirements for Sharing Ultimate with a Xbox family member?

If you are sharing the same Xbox One, then there is nothing you have to do, So long as the Xbox One is the Home Xbox, then he should be able to access everything on the console.

If you are not sharing the same Xbox One, then you will need to make his Xbox One the home Xbox using your account, then he will be able to play the games on his console.

Sorry for the inconvenience but that should be working, try contacting Xbox Support . I can suggest a temporary fix of just have your account logged in well your son
is logged in til you can find a solution. Hope this helps til you can find what's fully going on.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. You seem to have met the requirements however, just to be clear ill list them here :

1. You would need to have a Xbox profile with a gamertag
2. This Xbox profile would need to have the Gamepass Ultimate Subscriptions active.
3. This profile would have needed to set up
   "Home Xbox" on your Xbox. (You should double check the "My home xbox" settings to make sure it says "This is your home Xbox" in the first paragraph on that page.

If all those requirements were met, then your subscription should be being shared with all other accounts on that Same Xbox. In that case, try performing a

power cycle on your Xbox and then trying again.

It’s the Ultimate version

I should say that my son has his own account/Xbox gamer tag.

I’m sharing the Ultimate pass with him as a family member.

Yes, your son and daughter can both use the same Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. The subscription allows for up to six family members to access the games and benefits included in the subscription.



To set this up, you will need to create a Microsoft family group and add both your son and daughter to the group. Once they are added, you can share the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription with the family group.



To share the subscription, sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate page. From there, select "Manage" and then "Share to a family member." Choose the family member you want to share with and follow the prompts to complete the process.



Your son and daughter will then be able to access the games and benefits included in the subscription on their respective devices.
