Requesting another gamertag change

Hi my name is Ethan Schriver, I just recently created a new xbox account. I am buying my new xbox one tomorrow, and i have pre ordered nhl 16 today as well on this account. I was planning on changing my gamertag and i was checking for availability. When
suddenly i accidentally clicked enter on my keyboard and it took me to the next page and my gamertag was changed. I thought it was strange it auto changed like that and i was wondering if there was a possibility i can get my name change back. thank you.

If you read the second link I posted it explains about forced gamertag changes in the suspensions and console bans section.

 

You can change your gamertag again at any time, but you will have to pay for it.

 

I just paid for a 69 dollar game and I'm buying my xbox tomorrow is there any chance I can talk to someone about getting my free name change back since I didn't mean to change it.

 

You can try contacting support directly, but chances are they will send you back to the forums. You only get one free name change and that is only if you receive a randomly generated tag. there is no way to get a free change after. Since you haven't done
anything with this account yet, you could also start a new account with the gamertag you want.

Apologies, but if you made an accidental purchase, you can consult with Xbox Phone Support by calling 1-800-469-9269 (US & Canada) and you MIGHT receive a refund. I do believe they have a one time accidental refund policy if I'm not mistaken.
