Bought AC IV on Xbox One, and like the majority of people - or so it seems - I am having the issue where the game won't sign into the Ubi servers.

Not only does this stop you accessing the DLC store - and stops you playing any DLC you have purchased - but it causes the game to keep freezing momentarily at random intervals. For me that makes the game unplayable and I want my money back.

I have an open ticket with Ubi support, but they last responded to me almost a week ago now. And on the forums where many people are complaining about this, they have remained resolutely silent on the matter.

So I assume I contact MS for a refund rather than Ubi? I'm in the U.K and fairly sure this falls under the Sales of Goods act that the product isn't fit for the purpose for which it was sold.

You would need to go to Sign in to your Microsoft account to see about starting a refund there. If not, you'll need to contact support and speak to billing. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I'm afraid that games cannot be exchanged but only refunded. If you purchased the wrong game then request a refund here https://xbox.com/refund and then purchase the version that you would like.

Umm... Ambassador RandyAU93 I believe you are wrong. This info is post on www.support.xbox.com under games > purchasing tab. Hopefully this helps Emil Maciejewski.

there can be a delay of 24 hours from purchase to be able to request a refund, but getting a refund on a game just becuase you dont like it is not much of a reason, usually because its faulty or wrong purchase.

also have you played the game for more that 2 hours.
