Requested a Refund for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, "purchased" (pre-ordered) on the 23rd of...

So, a bit of background. I have an addiction to most and any cosmetic based Microtransactions in games, so I do my best to avoid them as much as possible. My friends really wanted to play Breakpoint, so I ordered it. On the day of release (Early Access cause
I bought the Ultimate Edition), I found out how aggressive the Microtransactions in the game would be and immediately upon learning this requested a refund of the purchase.

The request was sent on Tuesday, 3 days ago. Got a response yesterday telling me it was denied due to being outside the "Refund Policy Window", which is a bold faced and blatant lie since the refund policy clearly states 14 days from date of purchase. The
Purchase was made on the 23rd of September 2019, Refund requested on October 1st 2019 and unless someone has a really bad way of reading calendars that would only be 9 days from the point of purchase, fully capable of being refunded per my request.

I really don't appreciate getting jerked around by Microsoft support considering I called them once and live chatted a second time, both saying I would be able to get the refund processed and get my money back as I have no use for a game that I will never
play due to the addiction I face.

This has made me very angry as if I had learned about the model they were using a day before it was released I wouldn't have to go through this runaround [mod removed] as Pre-Orders can always be cancelled.
