[Request] Share Clips to Party Members

This feature is requested quite frequently. I would love for this to be brought to xbox. I love grabbing awesome clips, but on handfuls of clips the extra commentary that made the moment are lost do to not recording party chat with it

Once they're uploaded, they can be shared—on your profile's activity feed and in a message.

Press Win + G to open Game Bar, then select Widget Menu > Gallery.

To share a game clip or screenshot, select Open file location, then use your app of choice to share your capture.

This is happening to me too, some more information:

Any clips I edited in the "old" Upload Studio can still be shared (through messages, activity feed, twitter and showcase).

Automatic and manual clips can be shared with no problem. GameDVR clips can be shared too.

The problem arises when editing a clip in the new Upload Studio (which is amazing by the way!)

Any clips that have been edited in Upload Studio 2.0 no longer bring up the share menu, it simply says "Something went wrong. Sorry, we are unable to share this at the moment. Try again in a while.)

The clip still uploads to the official Xbox website, and can be played just fine on there and Smartglass - but cannot be shared anywhere else. Even the third party clip websites that scrape Xbox Live can't see these Upload Studio 2.0 clips, they simply don't
exist to them - so there's definitely some kind of difference on the back-end with these new types of clips.

I've done a full cold reboot (held the power button for 10 seconds until it switched off, left it unplugged for a minute and tried again), rebooted my router, closed all other games and apps before attempting to share etc etc. Nothing works.

This happened with all clips I created yesterday and all clips I created today. We're not the only ones - at least 4 people I've spoken to on twitter have the same problem.

Battlefield 4 will record a clip every time I rank up. Worse yet, FIFA 14 will record a clip every time my goalie makes a diving save of sorts, or I score a special kind of goal. No harm no foul, you can go and delete them from Upload later or they'll just
expire if you choose not to save them.

You have to start a party while you're in Battlefield 4 and invite people. It'll put you in matches with your party members, or notify you of an open match your other party member may be in if you're not in the same game.

Indeed, as this only a concern to a specific game, there could be investigation that is required to fix this. We may find a way to reach out to Forza Support internally however for in-game concern, it is still highly recommended for you to submit a bug to the developer. That way, they can investigate with your concern you may include screenshot and game clips in your report.
