    Request head to head capability on XBOX One on same network without Live subscription


    My wife and I would love the ability to race head to head on games such as Project Cars 2, Forza and F1 2019 without having to pay for an online subscription. We would be onto consoles sitting right next to each other and neither of us has the desire to race online against other people. Why is this not already an option? I understand having to pay for the service if we want to truly play online, but we are on the same darn network. To pay for one subscription, let alone 2, seems ridiculous to me for what we are wanting to do.

    You can flip that on its head and say 'suggesting people who would buy an MMO but not a subscription remains both ridiculous and silly'. You can do things with a ONE without a Live subscription but you can't do crap with an MMO if you're not going to pay.

    Xbox One is the only platform to impose this extra paygate, which is very ridiculous and silly.
