if there is an enforcement action still on your account and for how long. They can't assist with enforcement actions, however they should be able to let you know if there are other actions on your account.

Let me see if I can give you an example of how you can be suspended while already serving a suspension.

This is not necessarily what happened in your case This is just an EXAMPLE of how it could happen,

Say you send someone a message that violates the code of conduct on November 5th and the person you sent it to reports to the enforcement team that you violated the code of conduct.

The enforcement team will then investigate the report (this could take a couple days) and finishes their investigation say on the 8th your suspension will then start on the 8th and say last till the 15th.

So say on the 7th you send another message that violates the code of conduct and that one gets reported the enforcement team will then investigate that report (again could take a couple of days) and finishes their investigates on the 12th they will then
suspend your account for that infraction.

Just because your suspension started on a certain date does not mean that is the day the infraction happened thats just the day the enforcement team finished their investigation and put the suspension onto the account.

Investigations can take time and are not always issued the same day they action took place. Both suspensions could be for actions that took place days or weeks before the 1st suspension was issued.

suspensions are only issued following a thorough investigation of the account’s activity and conduct confirming that a Microsoft Services Agreement violation occurred. While some Code of Conduct violations are immediately resolved, XBLPET also conducts
reactive investigations.

Many of these investigations are triggered by player complaints. The Code of Conduct has no statute of limitations, and users may be enforced upon at any time for past offenses.

XBLPET investigates and takes an evidence-based approach to enforcement; they take numerous factors into account when considering issuing a suspension. The context around the content or activity is particularly essential and drives the decision-making process.

Simply put, there is no magic formula that instantly results in a suspension. Despite what some may claim, XBLPET will
never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions
always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

I'm sorry to say that you ran into one of the reasons that users are advised against letting others (even their children) use their accounts. Each user should have their own Microsoft account and gamertag. At the minimum, this gives them their own online
presence, game saves, achievements, etc. On Xbox One, they don't even need their own subscriptions, as the Home Xbox feature allows a single subscriber to cover every user on that console.

In the case of children, it can be set up as a child account under your control, allowing you to protect their online privacy.
