Reputation System too Flawed

Ever stop to think that perhaps nobody feels like wasting their time, don't want to risk repercussions from filing a false report, or it hasn't had time to take effect yet if anyone has bothered to report you? You claiming that there isn't a problem because
nothing has happened yet is about as valid as me claiming that an asteroid couldn't ever possibly hit the Earth because we're all still here today.

 

No, I did that's why I'll make sure to keep throwing it in the face of people who claim it works. Year number 1 go.

 

@LostKaus, maybe filing reports is like reward points (Updated the 15th and 29th of the month.)? Lol. You COULD be in trouble at the end of August! ;-)

I don't know how it works but as we all pay for usage I would of thought they would know the real truth, if not why have they not been sued?

I think its just those who have really been cheating just wont admit to it just like they don't admit to things in real life .. but that just my opinion ...

 

Codecat's a hypocrite. He calls me out for not taking action because there's a risk involved, then he acts in the same exact manner as I did. I don't even know why he's angry with me - I've only seen him on here for maybe a couple of weeks.

What are you even talking about GG? Keep up with the conversation, seriously. When the notion of reporting your account was brought up, you told people to report your mom instead. When someone said they'd report me, I told them to go right ahead. It seems
you don't quite understand the definition of the word "hypocrite".

And besides that, who's angry here?

I do not get a warm fuzzy feeling. But what I do like is that I can block and whatever it was on the 360 and then never see that player again. That is great for MY community on the games and Live. If I can void the rude, foul mouthed, cheating (yes I
have ran into a few), and other such people I have a better experience. Better than nothing. I could not care less about the banning. MS just needs to make sure that the avoid works and actually avoids those players you chose.

Actually an avoid feature with a report(if needed) should be enough. That way MS can look at claims that are for major offenses. Allow for any recorded video evidence or messages to be submitted. Maybe a ban for actual hacking and things like that. But
mostly just stick to the avoid. I understand the argument of the "too good" player. But most are not going to report you for that. And if they do you will eventually be paired with better players that way anyway. Which is a good thing. Most of the gaming
population is not going to report you for winning so you will be avoided by the whiners and sore losers. Sounds like a win.

 

From what i seen it seems to work well because everyone who has posted complaining her got busted for cheating or being a poor player

 

It's been working fine for over a decade.

Some people aren't smart enough to understand this.

Others are simply too self absorbed to believe that Microsoft could do a better job than them.

It boils down to "probability is an exact science".

That's why Casinos exist.

That's how Microsoft identifies naughty people and shuts them down.

It never ceases to amaze me how little some people seem to know about anything.

 

I have never seen anyone post on this forum about being banned where I have thought it wasn't justified with the little one sided information they post.

@CodeCat5, I didn't say i would report you I asked if you would do what your asking GG to do, your posts do read like an attack on GG who raised a good reason not to want to do it, I was just interested if you would, and although you would your not risking
anything.
