You heard it from LK, himself, folks! Have at him!

...that being said, I'd frankly not want to be one put into the system who's known for filing false reports - that is something that I do know the enforcement team tracks.

  2. Flawed Reputation System

So basically anybody can file a "FALSE" complaint against anyone and impact their ability to find multiplayer games.

If they are not verified, how does this protect players that are not doing anything wrong?

    @GG

    Actually you can.

If you whoop me in KI over and over again and I decide that I don't like the fact that your better at KI than I am I can report you for communication, cheating, unsporting.

You didn't do any of those things but it doesn't stop me from reporting you for them just because you irked me.

The question has always been how they determine guilt or innocence (what evidence they have access to, etc). Every other anti-cheat or rep system being used is very clear and extremely detailed on how they catch people yet MS prefers to keep it a secret
    which leads to the criticism.

For a starter they have access to all your XBox LIVE data.

The number of false reports you filed in the past will delay them looking at the new report you make against Geek, but when they do they'll see how you guys came across each other.

From that they'll realise that you filed your report after GG defeated you soundly and repeatedly.

Your reputation as a time waster and general bad sport will be recorded as well as your history of trying to report people who haven't broken the rules.

Nothing adverse happens to GG and your own complaints against other people go even lower down on the investigation priority list when you file again.

Oh and just in case it's not clear, Randvr was suggesting a "hypothetical situation" that he beleived could lead to GG's rep being unjustly damaged. This is how the situation would play out. Randver has not behaved this way.

From that they'll realise that you filed your report after GG defeated you soundly and repeatedly.

In your scenario they would have to be recording and storing all game data from every single multiplayer game. The storage requirements for that would be huge and then they would need a huge staff to match in order to go through all that data they have collected
to determine guilt or innocence resulting from complaints.

    That's not happening.

@GG - Put your money where your mouth is and don't wuss out for such BS reasons. You say you have confidence in the system, yet balk at a real test where your confidence might be tested. Offering up your own mother for sacrifice doesn't say much about your
own character or confidence in the system, and is a very poor proposed test. If the Xbox Live programmers are even slightly competent then their system would see your mother doesn't even play online and instantly reject any complaints. You seem to think the
system is exactly as advertised and couldn't possibly be flawed though, so again I say put your money where your mouth is. Play a few rounds with a dozen people, let them report you, and see where you stand then. The enforcement website clearly says nothing
bad could happen, so what are you so scared of?

  9. To say this system is flawed is correct, BTW. It's also correct to understand that EVERY system in existence is inherently flawed in some way. The only REAL question is just how flawed is it? My answer to that is simple - it's not flawed enough to warrant
    such complaints.

Why? Because you're the one who originally started claiming that the system is as advertised because the website says so. Don't worry though, nobody here actually expected you to act like a man and prove there was any merrit at all to your words. Anyone
whose been around even a few months knows better. Once again I ask, if you're so confident, then why are you so afraid to prove it? It's funny how quickly you'll sacrifice your mother's account, yet you back down so quickly when your own account might be
at risk. Sad to see there's no honor amongst geeks.

  11. Code, I will not be bullied into doing something I don't want to do, so with all due respect, shut up. Hell, I don't even know why you guys are asking me for permission! It's not like I could stop any of you from doing it! You want to risk your accounts
by proving me right, then that's on you, but I want no part of it... *SMH*

    "What does it mean"?

It means that what you believe is "not happening" was happening back on the XBox 360 and even before then.

It's been happening for a while.

Randver, it means they can see everything regarding your account - all of your profile info, all of your messages, (voice and text), see your online purchases and downloads, etc. To make it easy for you, take everything you can see and know regarding your
account - now, start believing that they can see and know even more than that. Believe it, because it's the truth.

Or don't. Reading your hypocrisy always makes for good entertainment when there's not much else to do.
