  1. Reputation system is making my console USELESS

About 6 days ago, my rep went down to red and says "avoid me". I go to enforcement.xbox.com and a total of 17 people have reported me in the last 6 months, 3 of which reported for my gamertag. I have not been able to join a single online match since this
happened and the only thing Xbox support can tell me is that I need to play in online matches without being reported to improve my reputation... BUT I CANNOT JOIN AN AN ONLINE GAME BECAUSE OF MY REPUTATION. I've been told I might have to create a new account
and delete my account that I've had for almost 10 years. This reputation system is beyond broken. I've also been told that people can "leave positive reviews." which is bs because that doesn't even exist, the only thing considered a positive review is NO REVIEW,
but I can't even get that because I can't join a match. It seems I know more about this console than the people working for Microsoft. Pathetic. They may as well just ban me, it would be no different.

    :)

  2. Reputation System is a useless system

The rep system does not like what you think. You can find out about it here
Xbox Enforcement | How Do I

Next time guys play nice and be nice to anyone online so you both won't be avoided by people just like in a real life community. Good day!

Reputation System is a useless system

The reputation system is a flawed-useless-broken system built to benefit sore losers and people that have nothing better to do but whine that they lost. I have NOT had any negative feedback in over a week and played with well over 2000+ people in battlefield
my reputation has NOT moved at all. Which honestly seems to show that 1 negative feedback VASTLY outweighs the neutral or non feedback anyone may get. When you have all messaging turned off and everything and just play the game it doesnt matter you are better
off turning the headset on and screaming like a 6 yo

You can still play with other people of similar rep.

Several people have posted the same problem as you in the last few days, so there must be many "avoid me" players, maybe you could start a clan together.

  6. Highlight what i missed??

You say you can`t play online, you can, you just need to find people of similar rep.

You can also play privately with people on your friends list, this "could" increase your rep.

No review is a good review.

Microsoft can not block you from online play without a suspension or ban being applied.

  7. You missed the part where I have joined 0 online matches in the past week. I get put into lobbies by myself, or i get a message saying "no matches could be found." every. single. time. So I may as well be banned right? I posted to the enforcement forums,
only for them to send me an automated email saying obvious things like "Your rep has dropped because..." because only 14 people in the entire XBL community didn't like the way I played? Only 14 in 6 months!!!!! Give me a break. And also in this email, I read
that "You need to play in online matches without receiving negative feedback to improve reputation." but in the post, I clearly stated that I have not been able to join one single game online in the past week.

I didn`t miss that part at all, find some people with similar rep, add them to your friends list and play with them.

Your rep has dropped because 14 people reported you, not because ONLY 14 people reported you.

  9. I'm not paying money to have to go and add people like that. I can sit here for hours searching and never find a game. It doesn't match me up with anyone. So, how can I find players with similar rep? It's a backwards system and it needs to be fixed. You
contradict yourself when you say you need to play in matches to increase rep but then as a result of my rep, I'm unable to find any matches. So there's no way for me to increase it. Now, should 14 people have such an impact that this should happen?

  10. Maybe you could use a forum and make a post, just like you have here, asking for "avoid me" players to add, there are several here that i know of.

I didn`t contradict myself at all, microsoft told you that, i didn`t.

Depending on how many times you have actually played online, 14 could make a huge impact.

One thing is for sure, its going to alter the way you play with others when you do eventually get back online.

In my opinion that makes for a very good system of controlling players behaviour.

  11. Sorry I was confusing, by "you" I meant Microsoft

I play online almost every day.

On the website, this is what it says about players with the "avoid me" reputation: "A user who routinely receives lots of negative feedback and causes trouble in the community. To prevent further abuse, the user will most likely be matched with other low-reputation
    players."

    Key words, "routinely" and "lots"

My rep has been consistently green 5 months prior to this month when it dropped as well as the months before that up to when it was released, I've always been on green. So no it is not a routine for me to receive negative feedback. And lots? 14 people over
the course of 6 months when you play almost every day? Sorry, but that isn't a lot. We're talking about a community of millions of people. So I may have upset 14 people, but I'm causing trouble in the community? That's a bit extreme.

  12. Your rep apparently goes through 2 other stages before hitting red, there are 2 "needs work" stages.

Also i have come to learn that reports against you expire, when it comes to rep, so eventually your rep will return to a higher level whether you play online or not.

My guess would be you received most of those reports in a very short time within those 6 months, maybe within a few days of each other, which dropped your level instantly to red.

  13. Reputation system is making my console USELESS

I'm in the same boat. I sat and watched for 20 minutes my gamer tag sit in a lobby alone without so much as 1 other gamer. It seems my rep went from green to red in about a month. But the only game I play online is killer instinct. The system IS USELESS
now and no one can help me. It's not fair other gamers can't take a beating and now I'm the one to suffer. Like being accused of a crime I didn't commit just because someone said I did

  14. What game are you playing? If it's an older game it's very likely the game has barely anyone on. Also what is your nat setting at? Strict, moderate, open? If it's strict or moderate that could stop you from getting into games. I do an xbox love connection
test and it puts it on open every time.

Also clear system cache and see if that helps. Bad rep really doesn't matter. I have some bad rep myself, but it hasn't stopped me from getting into any lobbies. Now if you were reported by people, that's a different story, but they would flat out tell you
that you were suspended or banned. So you should still get into games.

@Black Bones they're referring to the reputation system on Xbox One. I don't think NAT has much to do with it. You're currently marked as a "Good Player" according to Xbox One.
