Reputation reporting abuse

I've had an account for 10 years now and never had a problem until the new reputation system was implemented. I joined a game on halo 5 and another player repeatedly betrayed me so I booted them. In response to this they(and possibly others) have spammed
the "File a complaint" feedback section to the point that I am now in "Avoid me". This prevents me from joining games by myself and playing with friends online. I know they are spamming the system because I tried improving my reputation by playing another
game (without being reported) for a week and it made no difference to my reputation. I then grew frustrated and stopped playing for 9/10 days. I then checked my reputation on the enforcement website and I had still been receiving complaints when I had not
even been online! I feel this is unjust and quite frankly after almost a month with no answers or change am about to give up on Xbox altogether.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you but you might of been reported for other reasons. When people report you the system checks if they have actually interacted with you in game or in a party, if the result of that is that they haven't then the report
is flagged as invalid.

The xbox live reputation system is supposed to be able to filter out unwarranted reports (i.e if someone reports you for no reason it doesn't affect your rep). This however, is far from the truth. The reputation system is extremely easy to abuse and literally
all someone has to do is report you for cheating when you beat them and the system sees the report as legitimate.

When it comes to messaging the enforcement team investigate it themselves, but for every other report they rely on this deeply flawed and easily abused system.

That's why I was just throwing this out there that this system is being abused by players that just can't accept facts the they are getting beat by better players like you said which shows this is being abused the wrong way and it's not fair for better player
to have a reputation like this

15 people reported me for assuming I was cheating which I don't do I am legit on my games is completely Abusing the reputation system

Being a fellow GTA online player, I know what it's like running into tryhards and getting mass reported. The reputation system also has it's flaws and is easily abusable by groups such as the one you ran into. Hopefully they fix it and make it less abusable.
