Reputation problems and Overwatch

Hello,

I'm sure I'm not the first to come here under the advice of the Xbox Live Support, and since I've tried everything else...I'm giving it a shot here.

Like most of the posts I read here, I just got (5days ago) an "avoid me" reputation thanks to the awesome Overwatch community on Xbox Live...

I'd like to take a few lines to thank Blizzard for using the rep filters on console but not on PC...(we are not THAT important to them) and then thank Microsoft for allowing this feature to **** player experience. Microsoft already has a system to prevent
cheaters and bad behavior it's called the enforcement team and they ban you if break the rules of xbox live, so why is the rep system allowed to prevent you from playing in good conditions if you haven't broken the rules ?

What I'd like to know (and I've gone through all the information available on the enforcement website) is : does microsoft have any regards for their costumers ? It seems that no since you are not making anything available either ton contact someone that
can overturn the rep problems. Also Microsoft has said that their rep system is faulty...then why let it operate?

anyhow...my GT is ...and I would like to know

1)how am I supposed to get my rep back up if the rep filter doesn't let me...also I paid to play online and to play Overwatch...I don't see why I should be playing free online games like World of Tank to get it better if I haven't broken any rules...

2) I'd like to know how long is it going to stick to my profile?

I'm not saying this just for fun...I'm really considering changing platforms and going to PC...where you don't have to pay a membership, where there is no unfair "rep system" and where you can actually get support. I've been with xbox for the past 10 years
and I'm only having issues since playing Overwatch and players abusing this faulty rep system...its becoming ridiculous...you can check that in the last 6 month I got massive reports on the last 2 weeks of May when season 4 of Overwatch was ending...how insanely
of a coincidence...

Can anyone please provide me with the information I asked? and if so can anyone either reset the rep filter on my GT ? if not can anyone send word to the enforcement team if they have any possibilities of doing that?

Bad reputation

I was playing symmetra in Overwatch when the 5 of my team reported me because we lost and they blame me. Now my reputation is avoid me and. I'm no longer finding match in Overwatch. Now what can I do to clean this reputation?

hi. I can't play overwatch. My reputation is red, but this fall in this last 2 months and i play for 5 years no have problems. Since i play overwatch the reports rainning . this isn't my problem. The community report for a bad play and i can't play any game
and i play the suscripción Go play only overwatch. Is not justice. I need help pls this system is bad ver y bad. (Disculpen pero mi ingles es muy malo).

 

Rep is nothing to do with support.

The only person who can improve your rep is you,no one will reset it for you.

While playing free games like Neverwinter,Star Trek Online,World of Tanks etc. are not your only option they are the easiest to get games in as they are mmo's.

There is no time frame on how long it takes for your rep to improve but it can take time.

 

why would there be a person to reset your reputatiom?

Reputation is community based opinion of your behaviour

There is no police officer or principle you can call in real life to fix your reputation in real life why would there be one in gaming?

Reputation is your behaviour and how people see it

You can only fix that reputation like in real life by changing your behavioir

Is this feature impacts players experience and ability to use xbox live and games as you wish without having broken any rules of xbox live they should be some kind of "support" otherwise all it takes is raid reporting a player and have his rep go down for
no reason.

Xbox keeps telling you that false report don't work and this is a lie. The system like you said is based on the feedback you receive so if you get reported let's say like 30 times in less than 24h (in overwatch this can happen) the system will understand
that you are doing something wrong and will lower your rep. just because you are using a hero or character you like and other players don't like...how is that being a jerk ? yet I can't play anymore sinceI got raid reported and yet you ask why they should
be some kind of support you should be allowed to contact?

if the community as the same extent of power as the enforcement team then there should be some kind of "case review" for reputation

support is why I'm here, they told me to come down here because they said the enforcement team takes a look a this forums and might be able to help me,

what I'm saying is, if I didn't break any rules of the Xbox live behavior, I shouldn't be punished and it shouldn't be harder for me to find matchmaking. all it takes is a bunch of false reports to abuse the rep system.

So since I'm paying for xbox live, for the games I want to play and since I didn't break any rules....I shouldn't be punished yeah otherwise if I did I would deserve a Ban and that's another procedure.

I'm seriously thinking about pressing charges for abuse of power, negligence and everything else I can think of that involves me paying and having no support nor the possibility to use the products I bought.

Plus there is no way of telling how long this kind of issue may last....its abusive.

 

Support have given you the wrong information which is something they often do when they don't know what to do.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

You don't have to violate the ToU/CoC for your rep to go down.

False reports do not affect your rep,if they did then millions would be affected but they aren't.

It's your behaviour online that affects your rep & it's something that happens over time.

There is nothing anyone but you can do to improve it.

I know it's not the answer you wanted but that's how the system works.

Understood so your telling me that Xbox isn't doing its job properly by sending users to these forums and that players or other users may limit the use of your own product without breaching any rules for the use of said equipment/game.

Also rep can be affected by false report I've tested that theory on a secondary account I created, a smurf if you like and had my friend list report and block it without even having played 1 min on it so thanks for that verified information.

I will be contacting my lawyer then and press charges since this is my last resort.
